Car Air Conditioning FAQS

North West Truck Centre are well placed to arrange all of your Car Air Conditioner Re-gas, Repair, Service and Inspection needs

Your car air conditioner uses refrigerant to extract excess heat from the air within the interior of the vehicle out of the car, leaving only cooled or 'conditioned' air behind to be redistributed. It is important that the rubber seals are inspected regularly for any signs of leaks or decline which may be a sign of refrigerant loss.

To avoid this issue the refrigerant in your Vehicle Air Conditioning system should ideally be recharged completely within four years of the manufacture date and every two to three years after that.

Your vehicle should be brought to a qualified workshop such as North West Truck Centre regularly to make sure the air conditioning system continues performing in optimum conditon as well as having the mechanics assess the condition of the whole vehicle.

Repco Authorised Service mechanics perform a 65 point Vehicle Inspection with every service and can alert you to any items that may need replacement in the near future or those that are already worn beyond repair.

North West Truck Centre care about the environment and can arrange automotive air conditioning service with a licenced technician.
